We strictly use period materials and contemporary methods in our restoration work. We hand-tie seat, back and arm springs, hand-make shapes from the African grass, horsehair, jute, cotton wool, and saddler yarn. Once all shapes are created, it comes to a number of sewing and substance coating. The whole piece of furniture is always completed in the traditional ways: loading decorative nails, or bonding borta, sewing up decorative cords, or fringes and tassels.
